Hi! I’m Alana.
Sports Photographer • Athletic Communications • Creative Content
I’m a sports photographer and athletic communications professional from Germantown, Tennessee, currently based in Newberry, South Carolina.
My love for photography started simply — taking pictures for fun and realizing how much I enjoyed capturing moments people wanted to remember. That passion eventually took me to the sidelines at Ole Miss, where I gained experience in sports photography, creative content, and athletic communications across a variety of collegiate sports.
Today, I’m a Graduate Assistant in Communications and Creative Services for Newberry College Athletics while pursuing my master’s degree in Sports Leadership and Management. I continue to work both behind the camera and behind the scenes, helping tell the stories of teams and student-athletes through photography, video, writing, and digital content.
Sports will always be my favorite place to have a camera in my hands. I love capturing the emotion, energy, and moments that make each game and each athlete different.
Take a look around — I’d love for you to see my work.
